Design South East
Design South East is an independent not-for-profit organisation working across the wider south east, delivering expert design advice, facilitation and training for local authorities, the development sector and communities.

Kingston Placemaking Panel
The Kingston Placemaking Panel (KPP) brings a range of multidisciplinary skills and independent expertise relevant to the challenges facing the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames.
The panel scrutinises applications and offers feedback to improve design proposals, to give decision-makers the confidence and information required to support innovative, high-quality designs that meet the needs of Kingston and its communities.

Brighton & Hove DesignPLACE Panel
The quality of life in Brighton and Hove means that it is facing intense pressure to accommodate housing growth. Located between a national park and the sea, options to expand geographically are limited. The challenge the city council faces is how to accommodate growth without compromising the city’s unique quality and qualities.The design review panel helps the city address this challenge.

Oxford Design Review Panel
The Oxford Design Review Panel was set up in December 2020 in partnership with Oxford City Council to provide pre-application design advice to applicants and Oxford City Council.

Sutton Design Review Panel
The London Borough of Sutton design review panel was set up in 2018 to provide consistent, independent advice to the council and developers and design teams.
Much of the Panel’s focus is schemes in Sutton town centre and other urban areas, although the Borough’s suburban heartlands are also poised to see significant development of small sites.
FRAME PROJECTS
Frame Projects is a design focused, project management consultancy. Frame Projects provide independent expert advice to clients, design teams and planning authorities on development proposals.

Haringey Quality Review Panel
Haringey Council’s commitment to high quality development is unambiguous: the Haringey Development Charter states that ‘all new development and changes of use must achieve a high standard of design and contribute to the distinctive character and amenity of the local area’.
