This is not your typical built environment podcast!!

PDBC is a multidisciplinary collective of not so like-minded industry professionals. The podcast aims to create a platform for cross-industry discussions, particularly from lesser heard voices, to showcase the realities, challenges and opportunities in the world of property development.

Rather than one profession, the podcast appeals to all built environment professionals who want to understand different perspectives and priorities of various stakeholders, be that developers, clients or investors; students and young professionals; as well as people outside the industry who want to learn more about property.

Launched on the 30th June 2022, season one consists of 12 action packed episodes, sponsored by A’Lake and filmed at Office S&M architects.

The group, which amassed over 1,000 followers on the platform, consists of architects, quantity surveyors, structural engineers, planning consultants, landscape architects and development managers, who have a vast array of experience working on mixed-use developments in the UK and abroad.

The group’s discussions about various topics relating to the property development industry cover subjects ranging from public private partnerships, through regeneration and proptech, to the value of genuine community engagement.
